We are currently seeking to recruit a Detailer / Designer to join a leading manufacturing company in Craigavon who specialise in power generation systems. You will join a high-performing team and be trusted with producing high-quality production and component drawings.
Your new role
As a Detailer / Designer, you will be responsible for utilising CAD software to create detailed component designs, designing components in line with the manufacturing capability of the Fabrication Facility, designing in accordance with appropriate guidelines and legislation. You will also be participating in concept and design discussion meetings and utilising the design document management system. In addition, you will also be tasked with creating cutting lists, BOMs, and assembly instructions. In your new role you will liaise with staff within the Design Department, creating programs for the CNC machines and visiting suppliers on occasion.
What you’ll need to succeed
We are seeking applicants with previous experience in a similar role and strong CAD skills. The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Product Design Engineering or similar.
