As part of our ongoing strategy to provide the best Developer Experience possible, we are looking for someone to take the lead for Developer Secrets Management strategies.
The broader Developer Experience strategy at LSEG demands that we aim to make security controls both at the centre of what we do but also implemented with as little friction in the developer workflow as possible. There is an opportunity to iteratively improve across our Developer Experience domain to keep pace with secrets tooling and solutions that help the developer community achieve their goals more effectively.
We are looking for a senior technologist with hands on experience with both writing code and working with industry standard DevOps / DevEx security and secrets tools to help us realise potential gains in our engineering and developer community.
You will be facing off to 1,000s of developers and senior technical leadership across the organisation, whilst leading a team of engineers focussed on transforming our approach and giving back value to the engineering and developer community.

Main Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain a secure and scalable Secrets Management infrastructure using Hashicorp Vault.
- Define and enforce access control policies for secrets.
- Integrate Vault with GitLab CI/CD pipelines to enable secure access to secrets during deployments.
- Collaborate with development teams to promote adoption of secure coding practices and secret management best practices.
- Develop and maintain documentation for the Secrets Management system.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in Secrets Management and security best practices.
- Identify and implement new tools and technologies to improve the efficiency and security of the Secrets Management system.
- Previous hands on development experience
- Knowledge of Developer Experience topics and strategies
- Hands on experience using Secrets Management tools including Hashicorp Vault
- DevOps Principles including CI/CD
- Developer Tools (eg: GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes,...)Ability to run a team of engineers and developers
- Experience designing large scale enterprise systems
- PPM Tools (ex: Clarity, JIRA, Asana)
- Working knowledge of cloud technologies
- Previous experience in a Project delivery, Coordination or Support role
- Previous experience of Software Development, Business and Technical Analysis, Quality Assurance, and / or Emerging Technology and Governance.
