The role of Development Chemist offers you the chance to work with a globally recognised business with a strong client base who are even having to currently turn down work! Along with career progression opportunities and stability you will have the autonomy to run your own projects as a Formulation Chemist from concept to production.
Ideal requirements:
- Degree in chemistry or related subject matter
- Lab based experience
- Industrial chemicals formulation experience would be a bonus - (Biocides, polymers, cosmetics would be preferred but not essential)
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player
Role responsibilities include:
- Support of the technical development of new products
- Assist with the scale up process and production of new company products
- Supporting with identification, sourcing and assessment of novel and alternate raw materials
- Help pursuing ingredient sustainability issues
- Contribute to the development of analytical laboratory methods
- Facilitating stability testing as well as user trials and challenge testing
- Supporting the QC department with non-conforming products
- Record keeping
This role is easily accessible across the west midlands including Birmingham, Leicester, Northampton, Nuneaton, and Rugby.
