Salary- £39,600 per annum
- Monday to Friday - Variable start and finish times from 7:30
- Some hybrid working, normally 2 days per week after initial training period.

About the job
- Design Engineering – to design and develop all mechanical aspects of a product range.
- Design Reviews – to participate in design reviews (specification, concept, model and critical).
- To carry out/participate in and record risk assessments as required in the execution of a project
- To generate innovative ideas and contribute to new processes and product improvements.
- Perform engineering calculations and undertake medium to complex FEAs in support of the design.
- Type testing and compliance testing of designs, including design of experiment.
- To support the introduction of new products onto the factory flow line and where necessary on customers’ sites.
The right candidate
- A good mechanically or Electrical biased engineering degree (or other relevant engineering qualification with accompanying industry experience)
- Proficiency in electrical and mechanical design concepts and system testing
- Familiarity with safety assessments, compliance standards, and regulations
- Experience with system characterisation, testing, and failure analysis techniques
- Proficiency in product development methodologies, including requirements gathering, design, validation, and manufacturing transition.
