The Delivery department delivers Teach First's programmes across all areas of England. We support, teach and develop programme members, trainee teachers their mentors via the delivery of teacher development and leadership programmes. We want all those programme members on our programmes to successfully complete our programmes and go on to be engaged ambassadors of our vision. This role requires expertise in Early Years & Primary education, and teacher education. This role will bring design and delivery of our Early Years and Primary programme together. You'll be part of the delivery team but also work closely the Design team to design the programmes and ensure programme delivery quality and fidelity. You’ll have a designated portfolio of trainees or programme members working closely with other support roles to create high quality experiences which develop the next generation of impactful teachers and leaders; engages our programme members in their development, their community and in our social purpose and mission to ensure all children are able to achieve their potential.
- Do you have QTS and have worked as a school leader? Have you got excellent phase knowledge (Primary or Early Years) and understand outstanding classroom pedagogy? Is your knowledge of the Teachers' Standards and Core Content Framework is outstanding?
- Have you developed, mentored and coached inexperienced teachers within an ITT (Initial Teacher Training) route for at least two years. e.g. PGCE, Schools Direct, Teach First etc?
- In non-London regions:
- There are travel requirements for this role. It is expected that non-London applicants hold a full UK driving licence with access to their own car for travel between schools/events. Dependant on the region, we may be able to explore suitable alternative travel arrangement options for candidates who are unable to hold a driving license with access to their own car due to personal circumstances.
