Development Test Scientist
Jackson Hogg is delighted to be partnering with a global platform development company on their appointment of a Development Test Scientist. As the Development Test Scientist, you will play a crucial role in the development and improvement of the company’s product line of automated biological equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct design experiments and analyse data to develop new and enhanced products that meet customer needs and market demands. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure successful product development and commercialisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute experiment to optimise product formulations, manufacturing processes, and packaging. Utilise statistical analysis to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Perform thorough product testing and evaluation to assess performance, quality and safety. Complete machine calibrations and setups. Identify and address any issues or areas for improvement.
- Lead product development tasks from conception to final application, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, results, and observations. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and regulations related to product development. Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and quality assurance. Coordinate efforts to achieve project goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's, or Master's, degree in Biochemistry, BioMedicine, BioEngineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in product development.
- Strong knowledge of scientific principles, experimental design, and statistical analysis.
