We are working with a leading NW healthcare technology Company who have an exciting opening for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join their Lancashire based team on a hybrid basis. With a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in managing and implementing DevOps practices, the ideal candidate will be proficient in Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes with a strong inclination towards ensuring seamless integration and deployment processes within their environment.
What you'll be doing day to day:
- Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Docker containers for various applications, ensuring their scalability and performance.
- Manage and orchestrate Kubernetes clusters for efficient container orchestration and deployment.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline code deployment through Jenkins , Bamboo and GitLab repositories.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
What we can't do without:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps or similar role.
- Proficiency in Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes and ideally GitLab.
- Ability to code in C# or Java
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
What we'd like you to have but it's not essential:
- Experience with SQL Server and MongoDB management.
- Familiarity with custom cloud models and configurations.
