DFG Officer

A local authority based in Sussex is looking for an established and experienced DFG officer to join their team on a interim basis.

The contract will consist of:

• Supporting the Residential Services Disabled Facilities Grants (DFG) approach, providing technical guidance, support and expertise
• Site visits, means testing, approving schedule of rates, overseeing the preparing plans and drawings and final sign offs of all applications
• Determination and implementation of Disabled Facility Grants and discretionary grants

The contract is initially looking like 3 months however the manager does expect the work load to carry over for a further 3 months.

Hybrid working is the model. 2 days on site, ideally would be routinely Monday and Tuesday. 

They are looking to get someone in immediately and would like to progress to interviews soon.

Rates start from £40 per hour umbrella.
