We are pleased to be working with an established and growing business, who are looking for a Diagnostic Technician to join them.
You will have the opportunity to join a friendly and interactive team, and above all, work in a role that offers ongoing development.
The current starting is £24k - £26k, however once experienced this salary can increase by almost 50%.
You will enjoyed using your initiative, learning and ensure that every task is completed to a very high standard, to help the company remain at the top of their industry.
Duties of a Diagnostic Technician:
- To carry out diagnosis and repairs in the required time frame, reporting to the workshop manager
- Recording details of vehicles diagnosis, repairs and time spent using internal database
- Communicate work required and advise of timings, repair and cost
- Ensure parts used are replenished, advising workshop manager on stock levels.
- Compliance with workshop Health & Safety
Effective use of time management for repairs to customer’s vehicles - liaise with office to coordinate & prioritise customer repairs
Skills:
- Some mechanical / engineering experience
- Logical thought process
- A desire to learn
- An inquisitive mind
- A problem solver
- A team player, with the confidence to ask questions and learn through practical application
- A full, clean driving license is essential
