My client is looking for a Vehicle Technician to join their busy Van Centre in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Working for a respected, busy and well established family owned business, you will be part of a successful and driven team that continues to hit targets and break records. You will be professional, efficient, have good attention to detail and be able to integrate into the existing team through positive communication.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform maintenance, repairs and diagnostics on the full range of Commercial Vehicles while maintaining company and industry standards and adhering to time management
- Use manufacturer diagnostic equipment, ODIS, to ensure diagnostics, testing, maintenance and repairs are completed in line with the manufacturers repair and warranty methods
- Utilise company and systems to record and monitor detailed explanations of all work carried out to brand standards
- Complete training modules as required to ensure your knowledge and understanding of the product is maintained to the required level
- Maintain your work area to company standards, especially to ensure safety of all team members
- Being prepared to further develop your skills and knowledge to become the very best that you can be
Qualifications
Ideally you will be trained to:
- Service Technician or Diagnostic Technician
- Certified Technician (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent to Level 3)
- manufacturer training equivalent

Job Type: Full-time
Your contracted hours will be Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm with 1/2 hour for lunch. 1 in 3 Saturday's 8:00am to 1:00pm as per current Technician Rota.
It may be required from time to time for you to work outside of your contracted hours, this will be paid at the overtime rate of time and a quarter.
