The role
The Digital Content Manager role is a 12-month maternity cover position responsible for managing the website’s content strategy, content design, content team, and website content governance.
You will lead the development of content strategy and content management processes crucial for directing content development, optimisation, testing, governance, and auditing.
As a line manager for 2 Digital Content officers, you will inspire, train, and oversee the team's performance, ensuring consistent delivery of the content strategy across the charity's digital products.
You’ll join the team at an exciting phase as we undergo our digital transformation project. Your key contributions will include finalising our migration to a new website and setting standards for content governance while coaching teams on web best practices.
About you
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar Digital Content Manager role, and a strong background in creating web content. You’ll have a passion for creating user-centric content and maintaining the technical aspects of the sites content including SEO, accessibility and taxonomy and schema markup.
A positive attitude, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage changing priorities and deadlines are essential.

Primary location of role and hybrid working
This role can be based in our Cardiff, Glasgow, London or Sheffield office. However, our hybrid working model allows full-time staff members to work up to 3 days per week at home.
