Job description

Never has there been a better time to join BookTrust, the UK's largest children's reading charity. After re-focusing our strategy on helping the most disadvantaged families in 2021, we now have a set of new programmes which are achieving real impact with this group and the research and evidence to prove it. We know what works, what really gets families reading together, and we are starting to shout about it from the roof tops.

This role is about managing content production planning so that we have the range of content outputs we need to tell our rich and varied stories of success helping millions of families. You will make sure that our content plans deliver against the organisation strategic priorities and you will oversee the smooth running of our creative studio. You will implement operational plans for content production across all digital channels.

We are looking for a confident, experienced manager with excellent communication skills and experience in managing relationships cross organisationally. A supportive team member, you will be a persuasive, determined, and exceedingly well organised individual, with first class attention to detail and the ability to lead multiple and competing priorities at any given time.  Confident in leading projects and motivating team members, you will be an expert in film and photography production processes, with copywriting skills and adept at working with a small team to produce excellent results.

To apply please send a copy of your CV along with a covering letter of no more than one page showing how you meet the person specification

Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusivity

We aim to provide an inclusive recruitment process and actively welcome applications from diverse talent pools: BAME candidates, candidates with disabilities and long-term conditions and candidates from underrepresented communities.
