Our Digital Team are looking for someone who is able to work with service areas throughout the organisation to develop, create, update, and maintain the council’s digital services.
You will be required to work closely with the Strategic Digital Services Manager to develop the Council’s digital services as a key strategic tools in transforming the way we deliver our service, whether that is internally, to the public, to business or other partners and stakeholders.
About you
We are looking for someone who is able to demonstrate skills in applying a user centred approach in the delivery transactional and informational digital services. Understanding the importance of customer journey mapping in designing excellent services.
You’ll have the opportunity to develop on your existing skills by demonstrating Digital literacy skills, including; content design, production and management, digital marketing social media, web metric analysis, user research, prototyping, user acceptance testing, customer journey mapping, writing for the web, image optimization, web platform administration and configuration.
We do ask that you have a Graduate level qualification or equivalent verifiable experience and training.
Applicants for this role will need to be able to use communication, negotiation and persuasion skills to gain enthusiasm and commitment from staff at all levels as well as able to adopt a flexible approach to working hours at certain times (approximately 4 times a month)
