About IOE IOE is UCL Faculty of Education and Society. The Department of Learning and Leadership (DLL) is a large specialist research and teaching department of approximately 110 academic staff. The department is a major world leader in the following subject areas: Early Years and Primary Education, Educational Leadership, Education Policy, and Initial Teacher Education (ITE). The Centre for Educational Leadership (CEL) CEL’s research, teaching and knowledge transfer work reflects a commitment to applied academic rigour. It aims to: Develop criticality: build evidence-based, theory-informed and innovative approaches to policy and practice Deepen learning: broaden perspectives and forge connections between theory, policy and practice Nurture collaboration: encourage shared thinking, collaboration within, across and beyond communities of learners Activate knowledge: develop and mobilise knowledge and understanding within organisations and systems Enhance equity: promote understanding about and action around equity and social justice About the role You will be responsible for managing professional student data within CEL. This will include liaising with our 22+ Delivery Partners in order to develop requirements and service specifications, and coordinating the participant engagement activities/data on UCL Extend (UCL’s learning management system, i.e. Moodle) You will manage, implement changes and maintain the Tribal Maytas student management system that supports the delivery of the National Professional Qualifications and Early Career Framework Programmes delivered by CEL on behalf of the DfE. You will become the acknowledged expert for the system within CEL and you will be responsible for training the administrative team. You will be one of the main contacts with the DfE digital team and be responsible for data sharing with the DfE using MS Excel, CSV, API and web services approaches. You will contribute to the Tribal Maytas user group and inform the product road map. This post is available until 10/09/2027 in the first instance. About you You will have proven experience of managing, collating and analysing data for large scale and/or complex projects, with an awareness of the issues involved and a willingness and enthusiasm to learn more. You will be IT literate with a sound knowledge of data tools, including MS products such as Excel and Power Bi (e.g. pivot tables, power queries, Vlookups, advanced formulas), web services and API.
