Freedom from Torture is looking for a dynamic Digital Fundraising Manager to join our award-winning Digital and Campaigns team. You will have a remit to increase digital income to help us support more torture survivors than ever before, as well as develop innovative digital campaigns and supporter initiatives that bring our life-changing services to life.

 

Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Digital fundraising strategy & delivery: Develop and deliver impactful Digital Fundraising strategies, appeals and innovative special projects. Work collaboratively across teams to ensure we have the systems, skills, people, and processes to fully maximise digital income, engagement and growth.
  • Digital project management: Manage a diverse and passionate mix of stakeholders, agencies and suppliers to deliver against the digital team’s fundraising objectives.
  • Management: Managing a Digital Marketing Assistant, manage Digital Fundraising budgets, be a thought leader for Digital Fundraising across the organisation.
  • Analyse and improve: Oversee digital income and expenditure reports, providing timely, relevant and actionable insights through reporting and dashboards; monitor income against target and analyse results; conduct conversion rate optimisation, be data driven.
  • Content development: Contribute to social media campaign management, including day-to-day posting, designing and editing graphics, images and video, developing plans to maximise income generation.
     

About you:

 

  • You’re a lifelong learner - you love getting to grips with latest channels, approaches and innovations
  • You have experience of delivering complex Digital Fundraising campaigns that exceed ambitious target
  • You have a strong understanding of what works to raise money online
  • You’re a gifted campaign creator - especially for social media, email and website
  • You're all over best practice in email, PPC, supporter journeys, UX and integrated campaigning
  • You have line management experience and thrive off developing others
  • You’re able to respond quickly to emerging fundraising opportunities
  • You have a strong work ethic and are willing to learn
  • Experience of managing relationships with agencies and suppliers

 

The big pluses:

  • Lived experience of torture or asylum and migration
  • Experience working with and on behalf of people with lived experience
  • A proven track record of running fundraising campaigns with integrated advocacy asks such as petitions or write to target actions

About Freedom for Torture

In return, we offer a competitive package, with a generous 30-day annual leave entitlement, and 6% employer pension contribution (minimum 1% employee contribution).

Freedom from Torture is committed to showing the salary for all advertised roles and not negotiating salaries for roles, in light of evidence that this contributes to structural inequality.

Our policy is that all appointments will be at the start of the salary range but successful candidates will have the opportunity to move up the scale over time. The progression up the salary range is reviewed on an annual basis and subject to affordability. For this role, the salary range is £39,842 - £46,217 pa including London Weighting Allowance.
