Job description

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within award winning organisation recently awarded a place within The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2023. The Digital Growth Director will sit on the SLT to deliver the overall digital marketing strategy, from lead generation including integrated digital campaigns, developing partnership and growth channels and driving continuous improvement of DXP.

The role will also include:

  • Overall responsibility of the entire digital strategy
  • Creating medium and long term strategic marketing growth plans for UK, Ireland and international markets
  • Planning and developing integrated digital marketing campaigns.
  • Leading the marketing team and all marketing activity and measuring performance through ongoing review of performance metrics.
  • Implementing website test plans and developing a process for conversion rate review and optimisation.
  • Lead on projects to integrate digital partnership channels.
  • Own the strategy for our digital products, ensuring they are regularly used, central pieces to our service which drive client adoption, usage and retention.
  • Leading the in-house software development team, including a lead, developers, a BA, a QA, a UX designer and product owner.
  • Maintaining, developing and researching potential new strategic relationships within the sector to drive brand growth and customer reach.

The successful candidate should have experience of leading a team in a high growth business with specific experience of:

  • Performance-based marketing experience combined with a track record of driving lead generation and executing full-funnel digital marketing strategies
  • PPC, Programmatic, Display, SEO, social media, brand advocate and loyalty campaigns.
  • Managing significant marketing budget to deliver consistent ROI on significant budgets
  • Search-based technology and platforms including GDN, Google Performance Max and Stackadapt is highly desirable

This role is 5 days / week in the office in Manchester city centre, and will suit someone with a passion for performance marketing and the ability to working in a fast paced environment.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:

  • Positive and focussed attitude
  • A proven track record of driving commercial growth through flawless execution of a robust marketing strategy in a fast paced, results-driven environment.
  • Experience of managing successful marketing strategies using a wide range of digital and offline channels, delivering ambitious growth targets and controlling costs.
  • Experience leading a digital marketing team, with proven ability to motivate and coach.
  • Strong understanding of how digital marketing channels can work together to execute the marketing strategy
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Competent in managing various attribution models
  • Accomplished in optimising landing pages and user funnels.
  • Confident, ambitious, dynamic and self-motivated person that will to drive forward new ideas. 
  • Creative mindset with natural flair for identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that inform, engage and motivate.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Methodical, organised and innovative in your approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
