SalaryWe wish to appoint a qualitative post-doctoral research associate to join the REmote MOnitoring of Rheumatoid Arthritis (REMORA) programme (https://sites.manchester.ac.uk/remora/) as the researcher for the Digital Inclusion workpackage. You will use a range of qualitative methods, such as semi-structured interviews with patients, observations of clinic consultations, and conversation analysis, to investigate barriers to inclusive remote symptom tracking, and how we could overcome these. The focus will be on experiences of people with rheumatoid arthritis from diverse contexts who have been invited to take part in the REMORA programme but declined participation or did not engage with remote symptom tracking. This qualitative research will play a key role in understanding how people use the remote symptom tracking intervention; if and how it influences patients and professionals decision making and behaviour; its impact on health equity; and how its Digital Inclusion could be optimised.
You will be joining a team of multi-disciplinary researchers and patient partners who, together, are delivering an innovative and exciting research programme that will make a difference to patients lives, now and in the future. There will also be opportunities to join seminars and research collaboration activities within both the Pankhurst Institute and the Centre for Primary Care and Health Services Research within the School of Health Sciences.
Interviews are scheduled for Tuesday 16th April and Wednesday 17th April 2024.
