Our Stantec UK&I HR team are a passionate group of HR professionals supporting a UK&I region of almost 3, 000 talented engineers, scientist and functional support staff. To support our growing business, we are now seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Digital Learning and Development Specialist.

Based in any of our UK offices, the role will see you leverage our technology to maximise the engagement and impact of our learners’ experience in a digital world. You will be responsible for designing and developing engaging and interactive Digital Learning materials to enhance the overall learning experience for our employees.

Your primary role will be to focus on the creation and enhancement of new and existing eLearning and Digital Learning content. You will be responsible for the entire life cycle of a course, ensuring that our digital tools and Learning Management Systems are used to their full potential.

A key part of your role will involve coaching and mentoring our internal leaders, helping to create, design and develop engaging digital course content. You will also work alongside course leaders in preparing and curating materials for high-quality digital content for blended and live led courses.

You will work with our Learning Management System ( Oracle ) in driving efficiency and accessibility for Digital Learning creation whilst also maximising efficiency in terms of administration. You will also upgrade our existing training content to a common standard that is flexible and more accessible through a digital format.

Identifying areas for innovation in Digital Learning that enhance the learner experience will be an exciting part of your role. You will also manage the implementation of new learning tools ensuring that we continue to offer a comprehensive and modern learning experience.

About You

You will have a strong blend of creativity, instructional design proficiency, and technical skills to create effective e-Learning & blended learning solutions. Ideally you will have a qualification in HR, L&D, instruction design or a related subject.

You will have experience within digital Learning and Development design and experience with Learning Management Systems or Learning Experience Platforms. You will have proficiency in e-learning authoring & design tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Vyond, Powtoon, Adobe Suite, Canva etc) .

You will have a solid understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and best practices in e-learning development.

Importantly, you will have a creative mindset, attention to detail, and a keen eye for aesthetics and have the ability to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and instructional design techniques.
