Employer description: Chadd's Foodsmiths, based in Bude, is a Cornish foodservice distributor who operate throughout Cornwall and Devon predominantly to the Catering and Hospitality trade.

Overview: As an Apprentice Digital Marketeer at Chadd Foodsmiths, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our online and digital presence. You will work closely with our marketing team and have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of Digital Marketing, from social media management to email marketing and website optimization.

This apprenticeship is ideal for someone who is eager to learn and grow in the field of Digital Marketing and contribute to the success of a dynamic and innovative food company.

Salary:£16,000 - £18,000 per annum.

Main duties:

  • Social Media Management: Create, curate, and schedule engaging content for our social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Monitor and respond to comments and messages.
  • Content Creation: Assist in the development of blog posts, articles, videos, and other content to showcase our products, culinary expertise, and industry insights. Graphic design and photo editing.
  • Email Marketing: Help design, send, and analyze email marketing campaigns to engage with our customer base and promote new products.
  • Website Optimization: Collaborate with the web development team to optimize our website for SEO, user experience, and mobile responsiveness.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze Digital Marketing performance, using tools such as Google Analytics, and provide regular reports to the marketing team. Use data to refine marketing strategies.
  • Paid Advertising: Assist in the creation and management of online advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.) to increase brand visibility and drive sales.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team and other departments to align Digital Marketing efforts with overall business goals.

What we are looking for:Desirable skills and personal qualities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in social media platforms and content creation
  • Enthusiasm for learning and keeping up with the latest Digital Marketing trends
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working week: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm (37.5 hours a week)
