Global Karting League is seeking an experienced and hands-on Digital Marketing Manager to spearhead our global user acquisition efforts as we rapidly expand our disruptive electric go-karting operation internationally.

As the Head of Digital Marketing, you'll be getting in at a pivotal growth stage. You'll be the pioneering digital leader charting our worldwide digital strategy and driving acquisition across new international markets. With a startup mindset, you'll get to roll up your sleeves and be hands-on executing creative, data-driven campaigns that introduce our exciting offering to the world.

Responsibilities
- Drive user acquisition and retention across digital channels (paid social, SEM, SEO, etc.).
- Plan and execute innovative Digital Marketing campaigns tailored to new global markets.
- Manage and optimise spend across digital performance marketing channels.
- Conduct in-depth web analytics, user behaviour tracking, and conversion optimisation.
- Leverage data to generate insights and inform Digital Marketing strategy adjustments.
- Lead content marketing initiatives to fuel digital engagement.
- Continuously explore new Digital Marketing tactics to reach and nurture our global audience.
- 5-8 years of hands-on, execution experience across Digital Marketing channels.
- Able to roll up sleeves and do implementation work, not just oversee.
- Previously took a lead Digital Marketing role at high-growth startup driving execution.
- Comfortable taking full ownership as the singular Digital Marketing driver for global expansion.
- Experience helping drive international user acquisition and brand awareness efforts.
Technical Skills
- Advanced working knowledge of web analytics tools like Google Analytics.
- Experience utilising SEO research/analysis tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush.
- Skilled at analysing data, building reports/dashboards and deriving insights.
- Proficient with marketing automation/CRM platforms.
- Ability to integrate and make sense of data across multiple tools/sources.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not strictly required.
- Relevant experience and proven skills in Digital Marketing channels are more important.
Management Experience
- Prior experience leading and managing Digital Marketing teams is preferred.
- Strong communication/collaboration skills to work across the organisation.
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, rapidly changing startup environment.
- Comfortable delegating tasks and providing guidance to junior team members.
Industry Experience
- No specific motorsport industry experience is required.
- However, experience executing Digital Marketing for a company that expanded internationally is highly preferred.
- Experience in the events or festival space would be an advantage.
