Job description

Role: Digital Marketing Manager

Salary: £35,000-£45,000 per annum depending on experience

Location: West Yorkshire

Working pattern: Hybrid – minimum of 2 days per week from the office

Our client seeks a dynamic and experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts in the digital realm, ensuring the successful execution of Digital Marketing campaigns, and fostering strong client relationships. This role requires strategic thinking, project management skills, and a deep understanding of Digital Marketing channels.

Day-to-day, you’ll create and manage integrated online and offline marketing campaigns from the brief stage to delivery, efficiently and accurately. Also vital to the role is a relevant understanding of reporting and marketing analytics to help demonstrate success and continually improve services to our valuable clients.

With strong organisational and time management skills, you can successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously and quickly embrace change and innovation with constantly evolving marketing channels.

Duties within the role include:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through regular communication and meetings.
  • Understand client needs and objectives and translate them into actionable strategies and campaigns.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for account growth and upsell additional services to clients.

Project Management:

  • Coordinate with internal teams such as creative, content, and Digital Marketing specialists to ensure the successful execution of campaigns.
  • Develop timelines and manage deliverables to ensure timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reports to clients, highlighting key metrics and insights.

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with clients to develop Digital Marketing strategies aligned with their business objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Digital Marketing and provide strategic recommendations to clients.
  • Conduct regular account reviews to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and adjust strategies accordingly.

Campaign Optimisation:

  • Analyse campaign data to identify trends, insights, and areas for optimisation.
  • Optimise digital campaigns to improve performance and achieve client goals, such as increased engagement, conversions, and ROI.
  • Implement A/B testing and other optimisation tactics to improve campaign effectiveness continuously.

Budget Management:

  • Manage client budgets effectively, ensuring campaigns are executed within budget constraints.
  • Monitor campaign spending and provide recommendations for optimising budget allocation based on performance.

You’ll need to be a passionate, knowledgeable employee who enjoys working in a fast-paced, self-motivated environment and has agency experience. Display extensive experience as a client-facing Account Manager (or similar), including meeting preparation and campaign planning, with high presentation skills. With a brave and bold personality and enthusiasm, you will quickly build effective relationships with an established set of clients. At the same time, you are managing and inspiring a team of specialists in SEO, PPC and Digital Marketing.

Required experience:

  • 5+ year of experience actively using required skills
  • Preferably an agency environment experience
