Digital Modelling Manager

In the role of Digital Modelling Manager, you are a skilled Alias designer, a team player, and an inspiring leader. Your ability to bring out the best in your team, guiding them to excel as Alias modellers, is key. You thrive on the diverse tasks within Aston Martin programs, with each day offering new opportunities to expand your technical expertise and business acumen. Your responsibility is to independently oversee the design and packaging of all current and future vehicle platforms and products, leading a team of Digital modellers with varying skill sets.

You understand the importance of team dynamics and productivity, knowing that any negative impact could affect the timeline and quality of Aston Martin programs. This role is specifically for those experienced in Alias, as we are an Alias-focused team. Your role is to keep the team focused, energised, and united, pushing boundaries and bringing innovation to the forefront. Your feedback is valued and will be integrated into the broader Aston Martin business context and requirements.

To excel in this position, you must be a demanding yet people-focused manager. You will work closely with a team of digital modellers to deliver Aston Martin programs, collaborating with external engineering teams to ensure compliance with legal and engineering standards. Establishing and enhancing Aston Martin CAD delivery standards is crucial for maintaining premium CAD delivery regardless of the Surface CAD package used.

As the next Digital Modelling Manager, you will play a vital role in Alias modelling, team development, and mentoring. Your leadership will drive the team towards successful Aston Martin program delivery.

The Key Requirements...

• Understanding of surface delivery and conceptual modelling.
• Strong and relevant engineering knowledges.
• People management experience in a similar environment.
• Delivery experience: production surface and conceptual service delivering relevant experience.
