Digital Officer
Permanent, Full Time 35 hours per week
Salary: Grade 5 £30,208 - £33,204 (Starting Salary will be £30,208)
The successful candidate will join the City of Glasgow College Library Services team working with us to embed and deliver a digital library service for our students, staff, and stakeholders. Reporting to our Libraries Manager and supporting the implementation of a library digital strategy and landscape. They will be passionate about the use of digital systems, resources and services in libraries and committed to building our digital services to meet the needs of our users.
The ideal candidate will possess a relevant Degree level qualification or equivalent experience along with excellent digital library skills. They will be pro-active in keeping up to date with the latest digital developments in libraries and liaise and communicate effectively with technical staff on any issues relevant to digital library operations.
The successful candidate will contribute to support on library digital services and resources in an academic environment and contribute to library-based software, systems, and services to meet the needs of our users.
