As an Apprentice Salesforce Administrator, you will have the chance to work alongside a team specialising in the Salesforce tool. Salesforce is a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system which you will gain a certified qualification within the training programme. During this apprenticeship you will contribute to real business solutions and have a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights and hands-on experience while working closely with multiple team across Computacenter.

What you’ll do
For the duration of your programme, you will be studying towards a Level 3 Salesforce Administrator Apprenticeship. Throughout your apprenticeship you will dedicate 80% of your time in work and 20% studying toward your qualification.

The role will be working alongside our existing team based in the UK, US and India to gain a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform. Assisting the team in supporting users around the world. You will have a focus on helping to:

  • Resolve incidents by reproducing them on test platforms and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Participate in day-to-day activities, including team and project meetings.
  • Contribute to implementing best practices for Salesforce’s tool maintenance.
  • Engage in workshops to gather and understand business requirements.
  • Receive mentoring while working towards industry recognised Salesforce Administrator Certifications with time given for self-study using Salesforce’s Trailhead Platform.
  • Gain knowledge around executing codes to Salesforce environments.
  • Learn how to effectively manage users in day-to-day incidents.

What you’ll need
As you can tell this exciting role will give you a lot of skills and knowledge, but we do have some requirements upfront. As well as a strong interest in IT you should be able to demonstrate the following;

  • You will need to have achieved GCSE’s in Maths, English Language GCSE grade 4/ C or above. If you do not hold these grades in both English and Maths, we can support you to gain this by the time you complete your apprenticeship.
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn.
  • Passionate about technology and its potential to drive business success.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Self-motivated and driven to take ownership of personal development.

Please note that for successful applicants, offers will be conditional on passing additional eligibility checks with our training provider which will include a Maths and English assessment and a review of any previous qualifications you hold. Due to the funding requirements of the apprenticeship, applicants must not already hold a Digital Platform or Salesforce Level 3 or above standard, GNVQ, BTEC or equivalent qualification to be eligible for this programme.
