Digital Print Progressor

Our client are looking to source a candidate for their site in Rochester.

Company overview:

Role:

You will be working in a team of people to make this happen, if you have the skills and qualifications to do this then the company will give you the support to make dreams come true.

File Review:

Examining digital artwork files for print readiness, checking resolution, colour requirements, and overall quality.
Preflighting:

Running preflight checks to catch potential issues such as missing images, low-resolution graphics, or incompatible file formats.

Colour Correction:

Adjusting and optimizing colour settings to ensure accurate reproduction in the final print.
Font Management:

Ensuring all fonts are embedded or outlined to avoid issues with font availability during printing.
Imposition:

Preparing print impos/layouts for digital and offset devices.
Communication:

Collaborating with clients to address any concerns and ensure accurate execution of print jobs.
Quality Control:

Conducting final checks to guarantee that all elements meet printing standards and specifications.

Automation:

A readiness to utilise, maintain, and improve the automated workflow, to streamline file interrogation, proofing and processing.

You will need:

HP DFE (Digital front end) Level 1

Adobe Creative Suite:

• Illustrator

• InDesign

• PhotoShop

• Acrobat Professional

EnfocusPitStop

PDF editing and applying actions.

Enfocus Switch

Automation software (Advantageous).

Esko Phoenix

Imposition (Advantageous).

Colour Pilot

Colour theory / management (Advantageous).

Skills:

Strong client communication and trouble shooting skills.

Salary £25K-£30K PA. 8am-4pm Monday to Friday.
