Digital Sales Consultant - Volkswagen

Sinclair Volkswagen Bridgend are looking for a Digital Online Sales Consultant to become part of an exciting online sales channel, focusing on new and used retail vehicles.

Job Title: Digital Sales Executive Volkswagen

Hours of Work: Full-time, 5 days per week shift Rota to cover from:
8:30am Monday to 9:00pm Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pm Saturday & Sunday, some of which involves working from home. *Afternoon/evening (1.00pm until 9.00pm) & Sundays will be working from home.

Location: Volkswagen Bridgend

Position pays: up to £32,000 OTE

Role Overview:

To deliver an exceptional digital (via electronic channels) experience to all sales customers in line with Group, Brand and customer expectations. To help achieve team and individual objectives for sales and profitability by selling the benefits of dealing with the Sinclair Group and Volkswagen. Focused on handling enquiries to create appointments for the showroom Sales Executives. Adhere to our Sales Process whilst building a rapport with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Engaging with each customer enquiry quickly and efficiently. Conducting outbound calls to existing customers throughout their ownership period and providing assistance where required.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Enquiries

• Maximise Digital Sales appointments from excellent customer enquiry management.
• Responding to all inbound email, website and live chat enquiries, ensuring we meet all Brand expectations for customer engagement.
• Respond to all customer enquiries within 20 minutes.
• Carry out outbound calling when appropriate to generate appointments for the showrooms.
• Deliver our Digital Sales process to point of appointment in line with Group policy having effectively understood customers buying requirements.
• Qualify each customer needs and ensure accurate information is passed to site quickly and efficiently.
• Daily and accurate completion of all enquiries via EMS to appointment or lost sale. Conduct customer follow ups as required within a 24-hour window.
• Ensure all notes are captured within Dealerweb as leads will be passed to site for follow up after 24 hours.
• Ensure all administration is accurate and complete in line with Brand & Group requirements.
• Adherence to all Group financial policies.

Customer Follow-ups:

• Follow up customers following handover of vehicle via Dealer-web
• Build a rapport within a short call
• Asking a series of prescribed questions
• Ascertaining whether the customer will be scoring a 5 for their experience with the dealership during the sales process.

About you:

Key Requirements:

• Excellent level of customer communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with customers professionally via Digital Channels and via the telephone
• Pleasant, persuasive manner.
• Excellent usage of systems and IT to fully undertake all aspects of the role. Will be required to populate Dealerweb with all customer information before referring to site.
• A desire to learn features and benefits of our extensive product range to answer customer queries.
