Digital Services Support Officer

Delivery of the Digital Services functions for Derry City and Strabane District Council and stakeholders in compliance with strategic aims and objectives.Configure, monitor and maintain the internal and external wireless network servers and associated devices and system administration for Derry City and Strabane District Council. Provide technical advice and assistance on network/infrastructure, installation & maintenance, voice telecommunications and systems administration services to stakeholders..

Applicants must possess a third level qualification in a relevant subject, i.e. BTEC, HNC, HND in an I.T. related discipline or equivalent level of qualificationPlus One years relevant working knowledge and experience of all the following.

Microsoft Office (2016, Office365)Windows 7/10/11Windows Server /2008/2012/2016Active DirectoryWindows Group PolicyMicrosoft ExchangeMicrosoft SQL ServerpMware ESXBackup SystemsMobile devices i.e. Apple IOS and Android

Windows Networking/FirewallIP TelephonyWebEx / Teams or other Video Conferencing systemProviding support to a wide range of users on various ICT systems

OrAlternatively, applicants who do not possess the required qualifications but can demonstrate a minimum of 3 years working knowledge and experience in all of the above.
