Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Digital Skills/ICT Tutor for a company based in the Centre of London.
The purpose of the role to work as part of the Strategic Planning and Teaching Team for Adult Skills and Education Services. You will be required to develop, monitor, and teach a range of digital, IT related topics, and also manage the coordination of ACL/AEB Digital Skills/ICT exams.
You will ensure that the online Learning functions, using Google Classroom Educational, Moodle, TEAMs, and Zoom etc are fully operational to support all aspects of online and face to face classroom-based teaching and learning.
Focus on ensuring E-Safety and high-quality teaching and learning. You must have knowledge of Cyber Security and the prospects of AI in education, as well of experience with online teaching.
Working hours: 35hrs per week
Pay rate: 22.03ph
Location: Centre of London

Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach and assess accredited levels 2- 4 Digital /ICT Skills to learners.
- To deliver some first Step into IT/Digital Skills course to local people.
- To devise a programme of learning (scheme of work) with appropriate effective teaching and learning strategies, resources, and assessments.
- Support learners to access appropriate learning programmes using various diagnostic tools and assessment methods.
- Develop, deliver, and assess programme units for a range of programmes.
- Develop appropriate learning styles and delivery methods that meet the learner's needs.
- To ensure that quality assurance processes are implemented and robustly complied with.
- Work with learners on a one-to-one or group basis as appropriate.
- To maintain attendance registers and records of progress and ensure learners are correctly enrolled and awarding bodies.
- Engage in analysis data and target setting to raise standards of retention and achievement.
- Maintain relevant IT and administrative systems and produce accurate and timely management information.
- To ensure awareness and adherence to health and safety, safeguarding and GDPR legislation and company procedures.
- To take accountability for deadlines and targets set by the line manager and ensure that they are met as asset.
- To work with all managers, tutors, adult skills and education and apprenticeships ensuring that examination/achievement targets, priorities and actions are agreed within accepted timescales.
- To organise online/face to face information short /course/taster sessions to potential learners in a variety of community sites.
- To carry out any other duties as required.
