SalaryI am delighted to be working with a women’s charity in search of an IT Coordinator for 3 – 6-months. As IT Coordinator you role will be to plan, manage and complete the migration of data from the charity’s server to Microsoft cloud (Office365 and Azure) and ensure adoption of the new systems by the organisation. As IT Coordinator your role part of your role will be to improve the IT equipment asset management system and coordinate equipment allocations to employees.
Main duties:
Successfully deliver on the migration of data from the VPN to the cloud (SharePoint) and to offer IT support to staff with laptops and phones for new starters, leavers and remote staff.
Plan, manage and complete the migration of data from our server to Microsoft cloud (Office365 and Azure).
Ensure adoption of the new systems by the organisation.
Improve the IT equipment asset management system and coordinate equipment allocations to employees.
Act as the point of contact with our outsourced IT company.
Duties and key responsibilities
Ensure that there are effective controls and configurations to meet Cyber Essentials/IASME requirements.
Assess current data storage and usage to identify and mitigate potential issues/risks during migration.
Take responsibility for the initiation, control, delivery and reporting on progress of the data migration project.
Ensure adoption of the new systems by the organisation.
Support management and employees to transition to the Office365 environment.
Improve the IT equipment asset management system and coordinate equipment allocations to employees.
Liaise with outsourced IT company to procure and deliver devices such as laptops and phones and ensure there is a plan for their effective allocation.
