We are seeking a skilled and experienced Digital Technology Project Manager to join our dynamic team and to lead the digital workstream of our Global cost optimisation ‘Accelerate’ Programme. The Digital Technology Workstream Lead will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning and delivery of up to 41 separate initiatives to achieve the cost optimisation required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Digital Technology workstream of the Group wide ‘Accelerate’ program:
- Create a detailed plan for all activities to be completed to ensure the successful delivery of costs optimisation in year, identifying key milestones, tasks, and dependencies;
- Ensure all activities are appropriately resourced - people and funding;
- Monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing any potential risks or issues that may impact project delivery;
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members;
- Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines, making adjustments as necessary to ensure project success;
- Establish appropriate governance meetings to report on progress against plan and to manage issues and risks promptly and appropriately;
- Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for process improvement.
Experience:
- At least 10+ years experience in project or program management, ideally with a focus on cost optimisation;
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget;
- Proven track record and experience of delivering across multiple geographical locations;
- Confident working at a fast pace and to hard deadlines;
- Ability to use technology effectively to create own documents, slides, spreadsheets, experience using Google Workspace helpful but not essential;
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices;
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation;
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and influence cross-functional teams;
- Professional Project/Program Management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 or equivalent expected.
