Brief Description:
The Digital Workplace Solutions Architect is critical in transforming our Digital Workplace to foster innovation, collaboration, productivity, and connection. They engage with business stakeholders, strategising and implementing digital solutions that align with organisational objectives and working to advance the overall digital dexterity of the organisation.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
• Collaborate with executive leadership and business stakeholders to align digital solutions with business goals.
• Lead the entire lifecycle of Digital Workplace Solutions, including architecture, functional/technical design, and operational documentation.
• Ensure the creation and upkeep of current documentation or establish processes for regular updates.
• Document Architecture and ensure architectural integrity and consistency across the Digital Workplace environment.
• Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of digital tools and platforms to enhance collaboration, productivity, and employee engagement.
• Lead cross-functional teams on key digital initiatives, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
• Develop and track key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness and ROI of Digital Workplace initiatives.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback promoting a learning-oriented environment and living the Jazz Values.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the Digital Workplace space and recommend areas for further assessment.
• Develop and lead governance frameworks around digital collaboration tools, acting as the primary point person to manage, make decisions, and influence other governance stakeholders to ensure that collaboration tools are used effectively and responsibly.
• Develop and evolve governance frameworks to ensure Digital Workplace Solutions comply with organizational policies and standards.
• Advocate for user-centric design in Digital Workplace Solutions, engaging Executive Leadership and Business Stakeholders in understanding its importance.
• Manage relationships with vendors and navigate internal purchasing and legal processes to ensure seamless integration and implementation of Digital Workplace Solutions.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Proven experience in delivering Digital Workplace Solutions, enterprise architecture, and advanced application systems engineering and system delivery in small/medium globally distributed environments with varying levels of regulatory oversight.
• Exceptional ability to engage and influence business stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of Digital Workplace technologies, collaboration tools, and modern intranet solutions.
• Proven experience developing and maintaining concise and easy-to-understand governance frameworks.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Adept at project management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Understanding of change management principles and ability to drive adoption of Digital Workplace Solutions.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
• Understanding of compliance and security considerations in Digital Workplace Solutions.
• Technical Competencies:
o Microsoft 365 – Specifically Teams and SharePoint (must)
o Azure and Exchange (must)
o Zoom (should)
o Automation and PowerApps (Should)
o Miro/Whiteboarding (Should)
• Experience or strong knowledge of Generative AI
Required/Preferred Education and Licenses
• Relevant certifications in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF are desirable.
• Certifications in change management, AI, or related fields are advantageous.
• Microsoft Certifications – MS365 and Azure desirable
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical manufacturing, consumer products, medical devices or similar industries is a differentiator.
