Proclinical is seeking a Director of Evidence Generation to lead the development, implementation, and communication of successful global Evidence Generation strategies for ophthalmology devices and pharmaceuticals. This role will involve creating innovative tools and communication strategies, operating within a complex regulatory/legal environment, and providing strategic and analytical thought leadership across multiple functions.

Responsibilities:
- Identify evidence requirements and gaps, develop and communicate Evidence Generation strategies.
- Coordinate the collection of inputs from global and regional market access teams on evidence needs.
- Develop innovative Evidence Generation projects to support products and demonstrate value proposition to external stakeholders.
- Develop and validate new Patient-Reported Outcomes measures for inclusion in clinical trials, registries and prospective real-world studies.
- Provide strategic input into clinical development programs and commercial plans throughout the product's lifecycle.
- Drive publications that support access in key markets and provide scientific backbone to commercial and payer messages.
- Develop value demonstration and communication tools that demonstrate the value of products beyond publications.
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive Evidence Generation needs, develop innovative analysis plans, and manage data-driven initiatives.
- Identify and maintain successful research relationships with thought leaders and shape Evidence Generation methodology and policies.
- Develop potential research partnerships with key decision makers in health care systems and patient care/support organizations.

Key Skills and Requirements:
- PhD, MS/MPH, MD, or PharmD required. An equivalent combination of education and applicable experience in a relevant discipline related to health services research, epidemiology, biostatistics or public health may be considered.
- Advanced knowledge of biostatistical methods and statistical programming.
- Experience with launch of new product(s) or indication(s).
- Demonstrated research accomplishments as evidenced by a history of peer-reviewed publications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong computer skills.
- Ability to work well in a matrix team and cross-functional environment, as well as work independently with limited supervision.
- Ability to travel.
