The Role


We’re looking for an experienced individual to take on the role overseeing the Functional Support for the Audit product portfolio, the Testing & quality assurance activities and the governance, risk & control activities that operate over the Audit product portfolio.


The individual will report to the Head of technology & solutions.


Responsibilities


  • Portfolio Leadership: Provide strategic leadership for the audit product portfolio, focusing on, application lifecycle management, application quality and cost management.
  • Application Lifecycle Management: Manage the application lifecycle for all audit products, focusing on governance & controls, technology deployment, release planning and product maintenance.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance (QA): Lead the implementation of a quality assurance framework, defining quality objectives, ensuring QA processes operate throughout the development lifecycle, and establishing monitoring and reporting mechanisms over all Testing & QA activities.
  • Governance, risk & controls: Take accountability for the governance, risk & control activities over all audit products, including General IT controls, controls required by the firms System of Quality Monitoring and Software Audit Tool related controls.
  • Team Management: Provide leadership and line management to the Clara Technology team (team who provide Functional Support, execute testing and operate controls). Oversee the testing and QA resources used by the Audit business (seconded & borrowed).
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with key stakeholders, both internal (within audit business and with Enterprise Wide Technology) and external (global and other member firms), to ensure audit products run effectively with the appropriate support models and operations.
  • Process Improvements: Drive continuous improvements across the audit application landscape, including product lifecycle, support processes, governance, and operations. Promote efficiency, future-proofing the support models, and enable a transition towards a product-centric model.
  • Financial Oversight: Oversee the business as usual run-cost budgets for audit products, implement a FinOps framework for cloud cost reduction, targeting a reduction in cloud costs.


Experience & skills


  • Experience leading a portfolio of complex technology products, providing Functional Support, testing and deployment activities.
  • Experience building and managing a team providing Functional Support to end users of a portfolio of technology products.
  • Practical experience implementing a Quality Assurance framework and overseeing teams responsible for testing and Quality Assurance.
  • Experience implementing, operating and monitoring a system of quality control over a portfolio of technology products.
  • A proven track record of technology cost management, including evidence of driving actions to implement cost savings.
