In this role, you will direct the day-to-day operational functions, oversee client delivery, implement the vision and strategy, and develop our talent.
In more details, you will...
  • Ensure the development of a competent workforce to meet growth plans (aligned with approved budget).
  • Ensure the seamless integration of Project Management services and influence pan-Labcorp as necessary.
  • Accountable for the activities and outcomes of the study delivery team(s), taking corrective action where appropriate.
  • Partner with functional line management to plan and appropriately resource delivery and support roles to execute project plans to achieve agreed upon service levels.
  • Serve as coach, mentor and overall guide to the excellence customer service and delivery. Serve as a role model.
  • Ensure consistent and quality delivery of the client portfolio by supporting governance effectiveness and leading issue escalations as required.
  • Initiate and/or maintain key interface with internal key stakeholders and senior executive teams based on client delivery needs
  • Lead and coach client team members towards a culture of accountability for dependable delivery, commitment to quality, science, innovation, and driving growth
  • Foster a culture of delivering continuous improvement, quality, and productivity from the clients' perspective
  • Identify business growth opportunities and service enhancements. Monitor, track, and manage progress. Share learning and best practices as appropriate.

Experience Qualifications:
  • At least 8 years' relevant industry experience (CRO/Pharmaceutical); or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Central Labs experience highly preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of people leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated strong customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated a high degree of initiative and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Proven ability to inspire effective teamwork and motivate staff in a multi-regional matrixed environment
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in clinical or laboratory settings
  • Strong negotiation skills to facilitate, guide and influence a unified approach within a global, cross-functional environment
  • Proven strength in planning, problem solving and organization
  • Consistent track record of driving continuous improvement and achieving results through leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with, influence and inspire staff at all levels of the organization
  • Inclusive and engaging presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership development capabilities
  • Strong change management skills
  • Agile in communication and able to negotiate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders. This includes ability to use tactic and questions to gather perspective
  • Ability to influence and confront at all levels within a matrix organization and without "authority".
  • Problem solver, out of the box thinker: ability to translate ideas and data into valuable reporting and measure effectiveness.

Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • MBA/MS preferred
  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
