A key factor in the delivery of our broader organisational strategy will be the implementation of our market leading digital vision and roadmap. Our goal is to be the most accessible and connected university destination for any user, with users at the heart of everything we do. This will enable us to maximise our reputation and commercially secure our future as an institution, support productivity and efficiency, allow us to use data more strategically, as well as delivering the best experience in the international higher education market.

As an experienced digital leader within our newly created role of Director of Digital Transformation, you could help us to achieve the following:

  • Test ideas with stakeholders and sell the vision
  • Turn the existing strategy into a clear, digital roadmap, ready for delivery
  • Transform through cultural change
  • Deliver innovation and products to drive immediate benefit across the institution
  • Lead a rapidly growing team of Digital and data professionals
  • Encourage agile delivery, pace, and design thinking
  • Engage with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders - listen and enthuse, influence and take on a journey
  • Roadshow the programme in the sector as a pioneer in this space
  • Balance pragmatic delivery and governance with creativity and innovation
  • Build a 24/7 user environment, innovation hubs and standalone development environments
  • Guide the building of the data team and institutional level data strategy, understanding, and capability
  • Influence and access resources from the wider teams in a collaborative manner

Delivering these key outcomes will not only develop and expand your personal career and delivery track record, but also set an international benchmark in the higher education sector for the art of the possible. Under your expert thought leadership, the transformation that your team will deliver will be visible all around you through not only the satisfaction of our users, but also their academic achievements, leaving a legacy that will affect the lives and future potential of thousands of young people.
