Blenheim is led by an aspirational and innovative Head Teacher since 2017, contributing to a ‘Good’ OFSTED rating in 2019. The school became Surrey’s most improved secondary school in the 2017-18 Academic year and achieved its best public examinations results in the summer of 2023.
Now seeking an aspirational finance professional to join the Senior Leadership Team, overseeing all aspects of Finance, HR, IT, Estates, Administration & Catering contributing to its continued academic success.
The role:
To be responsible for the strategic leadership & management of all operational aspects of Finance related business, managing a budget in excess of £9 million.
Manage the day-to-day operations and support services of 12 staff to include Finance and Estates, HR, school Administration and IT.
Provide high quality, value for money services contributing to quality teaching and learning for its students.
To work in partnership and transparency with the Head Teacher, Senior Leadership Team, and Governing Body, contributing to the continual development and success of the school
The ideal candidate:
Will hold a full accounting qualification such as ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA and offer a minimum ten years’ post qualified experience.
Experience of working within an Academy or Multi Academy Trust Senior Finance role.
Proven experience of successful business and financial leadership.
A strong track record in leading, inspiring, and managing a diverse range of support.
Is commercially aware coupled with creative thinking and solutions focused.
Possesses integrity and gravitas with the ability to relate effectively to a wide range of stakeholders across the school.
