Director of Fundraising and Communications

If you enjoy Fundraising and organising events, have a passion for developing corporate relationships, and want to help make a difference to animals in need, we want to hear from you!  RSPCA Derby is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate person to join our team as a Supporter Engagement Officer (Fundraising and Corporate Relationships). We are a small, independent charity which relies onits supporters to survive in the increasingly competitive third sector, and in this role you will play a key part in developing those stakeholders through fundraising activity and corporate relationships. We are looking for someone who can confidently build and maintain relationships with people at all levels. 

As a Supporter Engagement Officer you will help deliver the ongoing sustainability of the charity by contributing to the success of our fundraising strategy, delivering projects and events, and developing effective corporate partnerships.  You will liaise with our Animal Care and Retail teams to maximise the impact of our supporter enagement. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be a well organised, outgoing, enthusiastic and creative individual who is committed to the aims of the RSPCA.  You will work alongside the Support Engagement Officer (Communications and Volunteers) and each will deputise for the other as required.
