Adecco Public Sector are proud to be working in partnership with a proactive and ambitious global Charity, Save the Children International, to recruit a Director of Global Campaigns on a permanent basis.

Salary: circa £85,000k

Location: UK or any existing Save the Chidlren International Regional or Country office worldwide.

The Director of Global Campaigns is a critical leadership role to drive through and build powerful empowering campaign initiatives for and with children. You will bring innovative solutions and fresh perspectives to shape global campaign strategies to promote the vision in a compelling way and inspire involvement and participation across their members, countries, and regions.

You will be a key driver in leading global efforts to co-create campaigns with children and young people, and mobilise young influencers, campaigners, and activists for children's rights to accelerate and deliver sustainable impact at scale.

The successful incumbent will build, nurture, and influence effective partnerships with key stakeholders on a global scale which will enhance visibility of campaigns and initiatives and really drive inspiration and amplify the impact for children. You will lead and manage a high performing Global Campaigns team and collaboratively work with internal stakeholders including Policy, Advocacy, Communications, Media, and Engagement teams to develop strategic approaches to influencing change and act as a recognised voice for child led campaigns.

Candidate Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience of developing and delivering ambitious and influential campaigning, engagement approaches and strategies on a global scale.
  • Experience in leading and supporting child led or youth campaigns.
  • Ability to develop effective relationships and nurture partnerships with a diverse portfolio of stakeholders at varying levels.
  • Proven campaign leadership at a senior level with the ability to inspire and lead a complex network on a global scale across a range of cultures.
  • A strategic thinker, innovative and creative individual with experience of a range of campaigning techniques and approaches.
  • Ability to translate strategy into everyday practices and interpret to a varying audience what it means for them.
