What you will bring
To be considered as the Director of Governance, Performance & Assurance, you will need:
- Senior leadership experience, including the ability to work with stakeholders at board level
- Experience of leading service delivery and seeking improvements in a large-scale, complex and fast-paced environment
- Experience of risk management and internal control frameworks
- A strong understanding of assurance, accountability and transparency
- An excellent understanding of Governance and performance
- Great communication skills
- Great collaboration and team-focused skills
What you’ll be doing
As the Director of Governance, Performance & Assurance, you will be a strategic partner in driving organisational success.
Reporting directly to the Deputy Chief Executive, you will provide strategic leadership for critical corporate functions, including governance, corporate performance, risk management and organisational assurance. Your aim here will be to help us deliver on strategic objectives.
You will provide expert guidance and support to directorates, the Executive team and the Board, driving positive change through evidence-based insights, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Additionally, you will develop simple but effective governance frameworks that facilitate decision-making processes and committee operations, empowering colleagues whilst responding to shifting priorities.
