Job Title: Director of Immunology


Location: Oxford, UK

As we continue to expand our portfolio of ground-breaking therapies, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Immunology.


Job Summary:

As the Director of Immunology you will assume overall responsibility for the Biology/Immunology department. As such, you are responsible for target validation, building assay capabilities and flowchart assays to support progressing the pipeline. This role will report directly into the CEO.


Key Responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for all biological and translational aspects of the drug discovery process.
  • You manage a small team and help to manage and shape the project portfolio.
  • You contribute significantly to the overall strategic direction and development of the company and align the departmental objectives with the overall business objectives.
  • You build networks with other team leaders or technical experts across functions internally and externally and identify cutting-edge approaches to impact therapeutics projects.
  • Stakeholder management: you can build strong constructive relationships with all your internal and external stakeholders.


Qualifications:

  • PhD in Biology or a relevant field, ideally with a strong background in IO or Oncology with specific experience in T-Cell Development.
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry with focus on pre-clinical development. Minimum of 5 years managerial experience.
  • You have a proven track record in delivery of clinical T-Cell candidates in the field of IO or Oncology.
  • Proven publication track record in the field of Oncology.
  • You are currently living in Oxford or willing to relocate to Oxford (Must be a UK Citizen)
