Director of Maintenance

Salary: $80,000 to $120,000 plus Relocation Assistance + Company Car + Housing Allowance

Location: Jamaica – Travel where needed

About the Role:

Are you ready to work for a world-renowned restaurant brand? We are very excited to be working with this high-volume, full-service restaurant group that is known for their excellent food, guest experience and quality of service.
This company is constantly expanding, and they are looking for an experienced leader to oversee operations in Jamaica at one of their locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify current and future maintenance needs and ensure all maintenance and repair requests are completed promptly and correctly
• Assist with the training and management of Maintenance team members
• Ensure that the department meets legal requirements
• Coordinate and work closely with external vendors for major maintenance repairs as required
• Always comply with legislative regulations related to building and equipment maintenance and safety
• Schedule and perform routine inspections of restaurant facilities to identify and prevent issues occurring

Assistant Maintenance Manager Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Technical background
• A natural leader with strong decision-making and communication skills
• Superb organisational and time-management skills
• Relevant degree is preferred
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with vendors
• Willing to travel where needed
