Job description

The role of Director is to manage the Private Team within this established multi-family office. The team are responsible for high level work, ensuring all clients receive excellent service levels, and also that team members are happy, working well together and that the office is run efficiently, meets targets and is always growing.  Flexibility will be required and although this is the most senior position within the team, it is a small team so there will be occasions when you are required to provide assistance outside of your job role.

As well as previous experience managing teams, applicants with extensive experience providing ultra high end travel (eg within a travel agent / operator) will be particulalry well-qualified for this role, likewise candidates with experience managing teams within concierge / lifestylle management companies. 

 

 

Hours:                  Full-time with flexibility beyond standard office hours  

Location:              New York, USA

Salary:                 Circa US$150k        

Start Date:            ASAP

Interviewing:        ASAP          

 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Account Management

  • Client onboarding Creating high-end, luxury travel itineraries (including complicated multi-country itineraries) Event management Recruitment Managing client requests Proactively alerting clients to activities / events etc that will be of specific interest to them Managing the Company’s supplier list

Management of team

  • Ensuring team follow Company protocol and systems Recruitment, onboarding and management of team Managing training, promotions, and grievances Monitoring vacation days, sick days, overtime etc Managing KPIs

Business Development

  • Developing company growth, increasing client list, building team and ensuring that revenue targets are met Developing knowledge of documentation and processes
