Director of Radar Systems / Senior Director of Radar System

Base Salary Range : €150-200k DOE + Bonus + Stocks

We are representing a global semiconductor business that has tasked us with helping them find their Director of Radar to lead their team in developing and innovating advanced radar systems. The ideal candidate will deeply understand RF engineering, MMIC design, and microwave technology. With a hands-on background in IC or RFIC Design, the Director will be at the forefront of designing and implementing cutting-edge radar solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the radar department, setting strategic direction and ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Drive the development of RF and microwave systems, overseeing the entire lifecycle from concept to deployment.
• Spearhead the design and optimization of MMICs, utilizing state-of-the-art tools and methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate radar technology into broader systems.
• Mentor and develop a team of engineers, fostering an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in radar and RF technology, applying this knowledge to our product development.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and research institutions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in radar system design and development.
• Proven track record in RF and MMIC design and implementation.
• Extensive experience with microwave product/mWW development
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a technical team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
• A commitment to innovation and quality in all aspects of Radar development.
• Fluency in French and English
• This position is onsite and will require you to be located or willing to relocate to Paris, France
