Director Of Research & Policy

FRC Group’s campaigning arm, End Furniture Poverty needs an energetic, multitalented, passionate new team member who will play a crucial role in our campaign to End Furniture Poverty.

Working with End Furniture Poverty’s Head of Policy, Research & Campaigns, the Policy, Research & Campaigns Officer will mainly focus delivering our research objectives. Developing research briefs, gathering qualitative and quantitative data, handling large datasets, analysing the results and writing research papers. These papers are used in Westminster and beyond so a very high standard is vital. They will need experience of using SPSS, R, Stata or similar software and have the ability to visualise complex data. Ideally they will also have a Postgraduate social research qualification. 

The Policy, Research & Campaigns Officer will also be involved with every element of our campaigns – from research and data analysis to developing campaign themes and messages, to assisting with our social media campaigns, devising and hosting campaign events and working on a one to one basis with partner organisations such as social housing providers.

The Policy, Research & Campaigns Officer will thrive in working in a complex environment and juggling multiple projects. They will have proven strong project management skills, clear communication skills, and will have a track-record of working independently to understand complex issues.
