Role Overview:
As the Director of Resident DoctorsMedical Services, you will lead a formidable team, encompassing 8 direct reports and stewarding a talented assembly of approximately 265 registrar level doctors across our esteemed facilities in London, Manchester, and Birmingham. Your strategic acumen will be pivotal in defining clear objectives, optimizing practices for Resident Doctors, and harmoniously aligning their endeavours with the productivity imperatives of individual hospitals and our overarching corporate vision.
In a role that offers substantial latitude for innovation and leadership, your contributions will be instrumental in enhancing rostering efficiencies and fortifying people management practices. Collaboration with the echelons of senior management across our hospitals will be a cornerstone of your mandate, driving performance enhancement initiatives to ensure the streamlined, safe, and budget-aligned operation of Resident Doctor services. Furthermore, in liaison with the Medical Director of Resident Doctor Operations, you will spearhead initiatives in clinical governance, patient outcome projects, and audits, augmenting the clinical proficiency of our RD workforce in alignment with the highest standards of medical practice, thereby reinforcing our support to private practice Consultants.

What you'll bring :
- GMC Registration and License to Practice in the UK. Significant experience in practicing medically.
- Management or Leadership qualification (or currently undertaking)
- Demonstrated extensive leadership experience in directly guiding, inspiring, and supervising junior medical professionals.
- Proven track record in overseeing staffing budgets, rosters, and driving process improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in effectively communicating, presenting, and engaging with senior leaders at the board level.
