Starting your Journey:

You will be joining Apex Hotels during an exciting period of growth and expansion following recent acquisitions. As Director of Revenue, you will report to our Commercial Director and you will be responsible for total revenue management across the Apex Hotels group, including all revenue streams, accountable Revenue, Distribution & Systems teams.

Whilst based in our Head Office in Edinburgh where we support hybrid working, there will be a requirement for travel throughout the UK to support onsite initiatives, key business partnerships and influence our industry sector.

Joining the dedicated Revenue Team, you will take responsibility for:

• Groupwide revenue management
• Competitor and market insights to support budget and product development
• Inventory management, distribution and optimisation
• Guest tech stack always on, efficient and relevant to business and guest needs
• 3 year rolling guest stack plan to improve guest journey, support operational efficiency and provide optimal and easy to book experiences
• Pricing and promotion
• Budget production and achievement
• Forecasting

About you:

You will have a real passion for revenue management across different business segments coupled with strong commercial, communication and relationship development skills.

The following range of characteristics and competencies are sought:

• Proven knowledge and experience of total revenue management across multiple income streams, different business types/segments, distribution, systems sourcing, selection and development
• Proven track record of personal fulfilment of targets and KPI’s
• Strong strategic, analytical and organisational skills
• PMS/RMS/BI tools
• A change agent, who brings cross functional teams together focussed on business growth and improvement
