A day in the life of…

As Director of Sales Marketing, you will be an influential leader who will own all aspects of the Sales and digital marketing plan and lead the department in line with Aimbridge Hospitality systems and Hilton brand requirements.

The primary focus will be to support the key commercial activities and continue to re-establish the hotel within the local market. The key focus will be to drive the share and profitability of both local and national accounts and secure new business across all market segments including but not limited to Air Crew, Corporate and MICE segments.

What do we need from you?

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record in a similar role within a branded hotel structure, preferably with Hilton. You will have a strong commercial acumen and be driven to exceed goals. Excellent sales, customer care, account management and negotiation skills, along with strong presentation and influencing skills will be key to success in this role. A network in, experience of the regional and national MICE market segment would be desirable. The ability to thrive in a multiple stakeholder environment. Has a good understanding of a hotel’s digital channels, including paid media, is important for collaborating with suppliers and specialists to support you.

A good knowledge of OnQ PMS and CRM systems is preferred, although training will be given. As we are an International business, there may be a requirement for International travel for trade shows etc as and when appropriate.
