Discipline Lead - Piping Engineering

Having won numerous awards across 2022 & 2023, they are on track to deliver even more success throughout 2024.Your new roleThis role will be focused on Oil & Gas fields and are seeking Engineers for this Discipline Leadership position to manage and grow the existing team and provide technical leadership to the function. The Discipline Manager reports to the Director of Engineering and is responsible for functional and line management of the discipline and the delivery of engineering design on projects through its people, processes, and systems. The role comprises a mix of technical expert, study management responsibilities and technical business development in support of their leading edge strategy for the pipeline design and engineering consultancy team (consisting of the non-standard disciplines including onshore & offshore pipelines, subsea, materials and related ad hoc consultancy specialists).This is a hybrid role with 2/3 days based at the Manchester or Aberdeen office with the option for dynamic working.What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role, you will be Degree qualified in engineering or an equivalent discipline with at least 15 years' experience in technical delivery and management. Within this role, you will need to be experienced in pipelines and a technical specialist with significant knowledge of the oil and gas industry. Knowledge and experience in the energy transition field, particularly CCUS and hydrogen transportation, is desirable.What you'll get in returnIn return for this role, you will receive an excellent package of between £80,000 - £100,000, dependent on experience.
