AddressOur Client is a leading distribution company with depots covering the UK now have a vacancy within their team of Dispatch Controllers based at their office in West Lothian. This role requires an enthusiastic and organised person to join a well-established innovative Business.
Your Time at Work
· Allocation of collections and deliveries to drivers
· Ensuring routes are created in most effective and efficient way
· Active monitoring of all routes and on-going deliveries
· Managing employed and self-employed drivers
· Supervising and co-ordinating depot movements
· Communicating with team members, drivers, and customers
· Problem solving
Our Perfect Worker
· Calm, organised manner with a proven ability to multitask.
· Excellent detailed geographical knowledge of central belt area.
· Essential- good communication skills
· Proven experience of working in a team.
· Ability to motivate and manage drivers.
· Good keyboard skills
· Experience of reporting and using Microsoft packages.
· Good telephone manner
Key Information and Benefits
The position is office-based Mon- Fri with a Rota for on-call work outside normal working hours.
Salary 25k to 27k
