In this vital role, you will be pivotal in maintaining our high standards of quality, accuracy, and health & safety (H&S), while demonstrating strong supervisory capabilities to motivate and lead your team to success.
Key Responsibilities as a Dispatch Supervisor:
Responsibility to organise and oversee the day to day picking requirements to meet the plan of demand from customersDelegate tasks as appropriate to the teamMaintain a clean, safe environment adhering to H & S practicesCommunicate and motivate your teamCollaborate very closely with production team leaders/managers to understand delivery times of goods into your departmentCommunicate clearly with the internal sales support team understanding demand from customersCarry out regular cycle counting of stock to maintain stock accuracy and locationTrain and mentor existing and new staffHold regular 1 to 1's with your team giving constructive feedback, setting of targets, aligning company direction and improve performanceRecognise continuous improvements in your area and strive to 'make things simple' in the picking processLiaising with logistics and internal sales on the collection of ordersPacking and dispatching goods accurately Key Skills you will have:
Strong organisational skillsExcellent communication skillsAbility to motivate othersPrevious experience leading others in a similar role of at least 2 yearsPositive can–do attitudeKnowledge of picking processes and dispatch of goodsKnowledge of SAP (advantageous) Why Choose Us:
